The registration of JEE Main 2020  is coming to an end on October 10, 2019. Those who have not registered yet must do it before the last date. Aspirants are left with three valuable months to prepare for their JEE Main 2020. There is no one magical schedule to get you those shiny scores. We recommend you to build your time table and stick to it. The key to success is regularity and to achieve a balance between all the subjects. The ideas shared below come from the previous years’ toppers of JEE Main. Have a look!

1- Understand the format:

Before starting to make your timetable, it is crucial to understand the pattern of the paper and the weight of each topic. Spending days on chapters, which carry lesser marks is not a smart idea. We recommend having a word with someone who has already appeared for the exam earlier. It will help you to focus efficiently in the coming months.

2- Systematic approach:

Toppers recommend to start studying from the beginning of the curriculum. This helps in going ahead systematically. They say that covering three units each of Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics in one week enabled them to revise efficiently. The idea behind this is the basics are done thoroughly followed by the complex topics.

3- Studying long hours:

Reaching the top is not easy. There is a lot of sincerity and dedication required. If you are going to appear for the JEE Main 2020, give a minimum of 7 hours of self-study every day. If you give more time to any subject, it naturally gets easier, and you tend to score higher in it. However, the key here is to plan it properly with great time management. Without proper time management, it can be tough to sustain a hectic schedule for you as a student.

4- Mock test:

Mock tests are necessary for understanding how well you have prepared for your exam. They also help you to change your focus towards something that needs more attention. Students understand time-management. Toppers always take these mock tests and their frequency of taking these tests increases as the exams draw near. So, if you feel you are weaker in a specific topic of Physics, you can add on extra hours to work on it and do better in your exams.

5- Keep extra days:

Toppers shared that while making the timetable, they always kept in some free days. These days are put in to cover the time you spend in your personal life. It also helps in managing time if lost in an unexpected tragedy or sickness. If unused, you can take it up for learning the subjects you are weaker at.  It is essential to de-stress. Going out with friends or a dinner with family does not hurt.

6- Get good study material:

If you use the right study material for JEE exam preparation, nothing can stop you from achieving your goal. Search for the right content and get it in the form of books, recorded video lectures or e-books. Refer them and use them every day. You can also register for online JEE crash course or full course depending upon the time left for the exam. You could also have a word with other aspirants to see their preparations and use their useful tips and resources.

A positive mindset helps you to learn more, and you will be able to score well in exams. Believe in yourself and conquer the world. Good luck for JEE Main 2020.
