Going fully digital is the way forward, as it has been for quite a number of years now. Aakash got ready for the digital transformation and provided students with a new edtech platform Aakash Digital. Along with the high-quality content for NEET, JEE, boards and other competitive exam preparation for class 8 to 12, we also believe in providing a smooth experience and keep on adding new features on the platform.
Now once again, Aakash Digital is happy to announce the addition of a host of new features to the two most important products in its digital arsenal, Aakash Live and Aakash iTutor. With these additional features, we aim to provide class-apart learning material for students, while making sure that their comfort and convenience is not harmed. Keeping in with the same thoughts, we have incorporated some features that also allow parents to track the progress of their children, leaving them worry-free about how their child perform.
Aakash Live helps students get the same quality of classroom coaching and guidance at the convenience of their home through live online classes. Along with the students, it is also helpful for the parents as it ensures them about the safety of their child as well as keeps them updated with their progress.
The prime addition to Aakash Live is the attendance monitoring feature for parents. Every fortnight, parents will now receive an email with their child’s attendance report for the time period under consideration. This will help parents keep track of how many classes their children have missed, and in turn, will allow them to have a better knowledge about their ward’s preparations.
In case a child misses four consecutive classes, an SMS will also be sent to the parents’ registered mobile numbers, notifying them about the same. Students will be considered absent if they attend less than 51% of any lecture.
Aakash iTutor brings the best of both worlds to students with recorded video lectures. In order to take the experience a level higher, the addition of a few key features has been successfully carried out, as listed below:
For new students, webinar sessions will now be held in order to familiarise them with Aakash iTutor, what it is, and how it works. For instance, a “How to use” webinar session will be available for new students on every 4th Saturday of the month.
Video of the week:
A new Video of the week feature has also been added, which notifies students about the most watched video of each week.
Study planner for students:
For effective and efficient test preparation, the syllabus plan and schedule for every test will now be visible up front to students. This will help students to prepare accordingly and plan their test preparations so that they are able to score to the best of their abilities in medical, JEE and other foundation level competitive exams. A study planner is also provided to the students, in order to assist them complete their courses on time.
eBooks and eBook solutions:
We have also upgraded our pool of study material including the chapter assignments and daily practice tests, and the video solutions for the All India Aakash Test Series (AIATS) examinations, as well as the previous year question papers.
Improved academic engagement:
We have also introduced special features that will help students resolve their doubts and solve their problems. These include live sessions for students on a monthly basis, problem-solving and doubt resolution by experienced faculty, and more interactive sessions, as and when the study planner allows time. Telephonic counselling and grievance handling are also possible now.
Top performer batches:
For certain students that meet the criteria of what we would call ‘super kids’, we will now be running a Top Performer Batch for such students. This will include two parent-teacher meetings by Aakash subject faculty, assistance and guidance by Aakash counselling staff, and exclusive access to weekly/fortnightly discussions related to tests and subjects. This program will help top-performing students to perform even better. They will be informed about upcoming tests, important deadlines, and will be guided on various topics such as their careers on a regular basis.
Special test series:
When the session is at an end, there will be a special test series held for all such top-performing students. According to our criteria, students who perform well in Aakash iTutor will be provided with a special test series at the end of the session for NEET, JEE, AIIMS, NTSE, Olympiads, KVPY and other exams, completely free of cost. These tests will be tailor-made to contain the same pattern and level of difficulty as the national level competitive exams. Counselling and guidance on how to perform better in tests will also be made available.
Aakash iTutor app helps students prepare for medical, engineering and class 8-12 school, boards and other competitive exams whenever and wherever they want. To ensure that students get unmatched learning experienced on the app, we have introduced some new features, as given below:
Unstable internet connection has become a common problem nowadays. To ensure that students’ preparation doesn’t get affected due to this, we have come up with ‘offline test-taking’ feature where students can continue taking the test even if the internet gets disconnected while taking the test. Internet connection will be required only to start and submit the test.
There will no more be a hassle of finding the video you left in-between or the one you want to watch again for revision as you can now bookmark the video to watch them later. Further, you can save them in different categories like subjects, chapters and the time of upload.
New app screens
The app screens are now more appealing and informative with new designs. You can now easily and quickly explore the app to find the right videos, courses and tests.
