Exam Day Strategy For JEE Main 2019 – April Session

The JEE Main 2019 April session is almost here! You must have already wrapped up your revision. Now this is the time to check some exam day tips to avoid any mistake.

JEE Main April session exam dates have been revised as these were clashing with the general elections. As per the revised exam schedule, Paper II will be conducted on April 7 and Paper I will be conducted on April 8, 9, 10 and 12, 2019.

With almost no time left for anything new to start, this is the time, JEE Main 2019 aspirants get ready with the strategies for the exam day. Having exam day guidelines on your tips will help you avoid unwanted mistakes and save time on the D-day.

Carry all the documents

Make a folder with all the necessary documents including your admit card, photo ID proof etc. Don’t leave anything for the last minute. Also, keep your stationery box ready a day before with all the required things.

Important documents to carry to the examination centre:

  • Admit Card
  • Valid photo id proof
  • One passport size photograph (same as uploaded while filling JEE Main 2019 application form)
  • PwD certificate (if applicable)

Follow the dress code

Following the exam day dress code is really important to avoid any problem. Though NTA hasn’t released any guidelines for JEE Main 2019 dress code, students should still be careful with what they wear. Here are some tips dressing tips for the exam day:

  • Don’t wear anything with too many pockets
  • Wear simple clothes
  • Don’t wear accessories and jewellery
  • Avoid wearing electronic watches

Know the exam pattern better

JEE Main 2019 April session will be conducted in an online format. So, understanding the online exam pattern completely is the biggest advantage. It helps you understand how the questions will be asked, and this will only help you manage time efficiently during the exam. As there is no time left for new topics or to go through the books, you should utilize it by solving as many online practice tests as you can to understand the exam pattern better.

Don’t take the stress

No doubt competition is stiff in JEE Main 2019 April session, but you still cannot predict the result. So just believe in yourself, stay confident and give your best with the JEE preparation you have done.

Eat healthy and take proper rest

The most important thing during the preparation for JEE Main 2019 is to eat healthy and rest well. This will only ensure that you remain refreshed, thus increasing your level of concentration. Hunger and improper sleep have a huge impact on your performance in the examination hall. So, make sure you don’t stay up late at night before the exam and take proper food before leaving for the examination hall.
